Moving out? Here is what you need to do.
Follow these steps to make your move as smooth as possible:
Remove your possessions
- Remove all your belongings, including any and all trash.
Clean the property
- Clean the stove, oven, and refrigerator both inside and out.
- Clean the bathroom using an appropriate non-abrasive cleanser on the tub, toilet, sinks and mirror.
- Dust the ceilings (for cobwebs), baseboards, window sills, closet shelves.
- Wash the kitchen and bathroom walls and spot-clean the walls in the other rooms.
- Vacuum the floors; wash the kitchen and bathroom floors.
- Clean the kitchen cabinets both inside and out.
- Wash the light fixtures and the windows inside.
- Vacuum the floors; wash the kitchen and bathroom floors.

- Schedule final arrangements to review the "Condition of Rental Property Checklist" for the move-out day.

Security Deposit
Leave a self-addressed stamped envelope with all your keys in the envelope on the kitchen counter top. After you have moved out, the apartment will be inspected for cleanliness and damage. We may refund any deposits owed to you within 30 days of moving out.
